Progress Report: July

July was a busy month for us behind the scenes. Most of the focus was spent on the audio and visual elements for the film. The Moulin Rouge recreation is getting more and  more impressive as we build (see below) and we are now making preparations to re create Jackson Avenue as it would've been in it's heyday.

We have signed an agreement with musician Phillip Henry to create the original music for the film (Learn more below). For the main theme we are looking for something that feels like this:

We are making preparations for a promotional preview of the film for Saturday, September 9th. This will be our first big public announcement to generate a street level, local buzz, 5 months before the official release. This event will be done in partnership with artist, Steven Spann, who has created artworks using the rebar leftover from demolished Jackson Street buildings and discarded items found in and around the historic westside. The event is titled "Jackson Street Project" and will take place:

Philip G. Henry


Philip G. Henry is multi talented musician who has entertained all over the world. Born in Jamaica, he has been a Las Vegas resident for 25 years by way of Birmingham. U.K. He completely blew us away at the audition. He effortlessly displayed the ability to play any style of music on the spot, from ragtime to jazz, to reggae on a variety of instruments. He is currently working on the films main theme.

Berge Garabedian

Film Producer

Berge Garabedian is a Canadian film producer has come on board as an executive producer, bringing years of industry experience. He is extremely interested in this history and has been a big help on the production side. Please click this link to see the films he's produced.

Moulin Rouge Update

After sifting through and studying every picture in existence of the legendary Moulin Rouge, we finally think we have it together. When finished it will be so realistic that audiences will feel like they were there in 1955. Here's the latest development:
